Fr. Mark Duggan Mulyanti the Dean of Iganga deanery which is the animator of this year’s Diocesan pilgrimage to Kyebando- Mayuge the birth place of St. Matia Mulumba has called on Christians to come on 12th October 2025 as pilgrims of Hope at the pilgrimage site. In his words: “…. Let’s all come as pilgrims of Hope knowing also that we need to die a little for others in our daily lives, in our families, places of work and also in all our daily duties, the little sacrifice is very important for our Christian faith…”. He also added that this year, Iganga deanery is already set to host us. This deanery comprises of Buluba Parish, Bukoba parish, Kyebando parish, Matovu Parish, Namirali Parish, Namungalwe Parish, Bugaya Parish and Iganga Parish.
